Suggested Beers to try at Ridge Rock Brewing Company.

Amber
Red Ale - American Amber / Red This beer is all about the balance of caramel malt sweetness and English and American spicy, citrusy hops. Pours a perfect amber colour, with a light to medium body. Slight hints of stone fruit in the aroma perfectly balance the earthy and herbal hop characteristics. The sweeter caramel maltiness is subdued by a floral hop bitterness in the finish.
Blonde
Blonde / Golden Ale - Other While it is very much like a pilsner, our German-Style Blonde Ale is fermented warmer than a lager, giving it a very subtle citrus fruit character. We've chosen varieties of European and American hops for a distinct aroma and flavour, and rounded out the recipe with a blend of Canadian malts. Pours a golden straw colour, with a light enjoyable mouthfeel. Aromas of freshly cut grasses, perfectly compliment the crisp yet slightly sweet maltiness.
American Pale Ale
Pale Ale - American Our American Pale Ale spotlights two hop varietals, Simcoe and Amarillo. The grain bill is comprised of Canadian and English malts, as well as an adequate amount of oats providing a full mouthfeel without adding too much body. The hop schedule during the brew process imparts a subtle bitterness, while the massive dry hop delivers incredible notes of berry and citrus.
Simcoe DDH IPA
IPA - New England / Hazy Our flagship exploration into the wonderful world of hops... This hazy double dry hopped offering features only Simcoe hops and is modeled after Vermont IPAs. It is medium bodied, juicy, resinous, with a bright aroma of passion fruit and citrus.
Irish Stout
Stout - Irish Dry A celebration of roasted barley, our dry Irish stout is nearly black in colour. It is low in alcohol, but chock full of delightful aromatics and flavour nuances that include hop-bitterness and a slight touch of acidity, both of which provide contrast to the beer’s big, roast-heavy character.
Electric Mayhem
IPA - New England / Hazy This double dry hopped IPA was created to be a clean and pleasingly graceful showcase for two delicious hop varietals - Citra and Mosaic. It is brewed with a simple malt bill and fermented with our house IPA yeast to create a flavour profile that spotlights the ingredients and yeast character. Electric Mayhem’s aroma is a citrus explosion. The taste follows suit with notes of orange juice, grapefruit, mango, and hints of lime. It is dry, soft, and adequately bittered resulting in a very approachable and thirst quenching IPA.
Silent Trees
Pale Ale - New England / Hazy In the spirit of restraint, we developed this New England Pale Ale to be more balanced and approachable than it’s aggressively hopped big brothers and sisters. The Citra and Mosaic notes shine bright though the soft, medium body of this offering, and are sure to please the palate.
Prairie Wind
Wheat Beer - Other Brewed with 50% Canadian 2-Row barley, 50% Canadian malted wheat, and just the right amount of hops for balance, our take on an American wheat ale has soft flour-like mouthfeel and incredible drinkability. It pours a beautiful hazy orange and is served with a slice of lemon, making for what we think is the perfect wheat beer!
SPRØ Kveik
Other Sprø {adjective}: crisp, crispy, crazy, mad. We brewed this experimental Norwegian lagered ale with a very particular Kveik yeast strain and were able to produce a very light, and extremely drinkable beer that is almost indistinguishable from a central European lager. It is dry, light to medium bodied, and finishes with slightly floral notes from generous additions of classic noble hop varieties.?
Pebbles And Marbles
IPA - New England / Hazy Yet another of our double dry hopped Vermont style IPAs. Brewed with Citra and Galaxy hops, this offering is soft and medium bodied, with cornucopia of tropical flavours and aromas.
Guardian DDHIPA
IPA - American Guardian was created to be a clean showcase for our favourite Australian hop - GALAXY. It is brewed with a simple malt bill and fermented with our house ale yeast to profile the ingredients rather than the yeast character. As it warms it shows its depth and complexity beyond its resinous, dry mouthfeel. Soft notes of citrus, peach and passionfruit aromas dance on the tongue before a sharp citric bitterness finishes things off.
Oktoberfest
Märzen Our take on the traditional German Märzen-style is like Autumn in a glass. The recipe is comprised of 100% German ingredients imparting a deep red, almost garnet colour. Aromas of toasted pumpernickel bread, caramel, and dark fruit fill the nose. Taste follows the aroma with upfront but not overwhelming caramel flavours, resulting in a medium to full bodied, smooth and malty beer. Prost!
Little Tiles Mosaic DDHIPA
IPA - American Say hello to Little Tiles Double Dry Hopped IPA..another of our ever rotating DDHIPAs. This offering is brewed with a simple malt bill of English and Canadian malts, and features a MASSIVE dry hopping schedule with one of our favourite American hops - Mosaic. This juicy IPA is a blast of citrus, peach, and mango with a light pillowy mouthfeel, supported by a perfect balance of resiny, pithy bitterness.
Lagerbier
Lager - Pale Even though we call it “Lagerbier”, this beer is considered more of an unfiltered Munich-style Helles lager or “Kellerbier”. You will find our original lager to be a malt accented offering with a pleasant sweetness, along with floral notes from generous Hallertau Mittlefrüh hop additions. Clean and crisp, this German offering pairs perfectly with most foods, and is endlessly refreshing.
Late Harvest
Altbier - Traditional In the continuation of our exploration into German-style beer, we present Late Harvest, an Altbier. The style originated in the Düsseldorf area of Germany, a region that did not embrace the traditional methods of cold aging or lagering. Our top-fermented Altbier is a balance of malt flavours and hints of floral hop aromas, and proves to be a perfect beer as we head into the later days of autumn and early days of winter.
Koper
Red Ale - Other We brewed our flagship ale recipe, fermented it with a blend of our house Kveik and Belgian yeasts, and dry hopped it with Sasquatch. The end result is a much fruitier offering that is nothing like our original ale.
American Stout
Stout - American Our American stout is a complex beer. It is rich with the flavours of fresh roasted coffee, raw cacao, caramel, and even a hint of English biscuits.
Fenian Rebel
Red Ale - Irish Our traditional Irish Red Ale gets its warm ruby colour from a combination of Canadian pale and European caramel malts. The medium bodied sweetness is nicely balanced by traditional English-style hops making it a very unique and enjoyable ale that fans of our Amber are sure to love!
Maple Latte Nitro Porter
Porter - Coffee In the spirit of neighbourly collaboration, we present Maple Latte Nitro Porter. Our good friends from both Ottawa Valley Coffee and Hollow Point Ranch & Sugarbush helped develop this medium bodied, dark offering through extensive conversation and tastings throughout the process. The result is what we think is the perfect beer for late sugar season, or anytime really!
Loyal Orange
IPA - Imperial / Double Introducing Loyal Orange, a West Coast Double India Pale Ale!
Splash
Sour - Berliner Weisse SPLASH is brewed in the Berliner Weisse style, with a Canadian twist. This sour style historically comes for the city of Berlin, Germany. It is light coloured with lemon notes and distinct tartness which makes it the perfect beer for all seasons.
Indulgent - Tiramisu Pastry Stout
Stout - Imperial / Double Pastry In the spirit of friendship, we present our first collaboration with Orleans Brewing Co. This imperial pastry stout was brewed with lady fingers, organic cacao nibs from Ghana, and espresso beans from Kaatittiaq Coffee Company. It is decadently dark, rich, and viscous leaving you with a pallet coating dessert-like sweetness.
Walking in the Tall Trees
Pale Ale - New England / Hazy
Sitting By the Trees
IPA - New England / Hazy
Vault Series #001 - Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout
Stout - Imperial / Double Aged in bourbon barrels previously holding maple syrup, this imperial stout is extremely complex. Notes of maple. vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and oak."
