Suggested Beers to try at Flora Hall Brewing.
IPA - New England / Hazy
Our flagship hazy IPA at Flora Hall is a tip of the hat to the style bending New England IPAs that shook the craft beer scene to its core. Boatloads of oats for a creamy body alongside an aggressive dry hop of Vic Secret, Citra, Mosaic, Sabro, and Enigma. Think tropical fruit salad appetizer with a stone fruit entrée and a juicy dessert.
IPA - American
Classic yet modern West Coast IPA brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo and Simcoe. Big hop aroma and flavor, moderate bitterness on a pleasant pilsner malt backbone.
Pale Ale - New England / Hazy
Brewed with oats and wheat to create a soft bodied pale ale with high hop aroma and flavor with low bitterness. Balanced, drinkable and enjoyable.
Bitter - Session / Ordinary
Sessionable British pub beer with medium body and subtle biscuit and caramel flavours. Finishes clean and crisp.
Sour - Other
A crisp, delicious light blonde sour ale dry hopped with Amarillo and Cashmere hops. A sure lip smacking crowd pleaser.
Stout - Oatmeal
Smooth and full bodied. A variety of dark malts create rich flavours of chocolate, espresso and a hint of hazelnut. Sweetness is balanced by moderate bitterness, and nitro drives it to our taps with a creamy texture.
Pilsner - Czech / Bohemian
Classic pilsner flavor qualities: high hop bitterness balanced with full body. Crisp finish with a lingering hop and malt flavor. Main flavor components are of quality grain, Czech Saaz hops and classic lager yeast crispness. Highly flavourful and drinkable take on the classic Bohemian Pilsner style.
Farmhouse Ale - Saison
Fermented with our house blend of saison yeasts, brewed with bitter orange peel and dry hopped to create a balance of fruity and spicy flavours in a dry saison.
IPA - Brut
Highly carbonated and bone-dry, our IPA in collaboration with Brasserie du Bas Canada is dry hopped with Hallertau Blanc and Enigma hops. Low in bitterness, with flavours and aromas of white grape.
Sour - Fruited Gose
Kettle soured then fermented with lots of strawberry and rhubarb puree. Light addition of Himalayan sea salt enhances drinkability.
Brown Ale - American
From the heart of Centretown, with love from Flora Hall Brewing and Arlington 5, this bold, balanced, and full-bodied Brown Ale is made with cold-brew coffee and lactose for rich flavours of Espresso and chocolate.
Pale Ale - New England / Hazy
Brewed with a blend of strains isolated from Kveik, a non-purified yeast used in traditional Norwegian Farmhouse brewing and intensely dry hopped with Citra and Cashmere and a little bit of juniper. Waves of stone fruit and lemon flavours end with a pleasant field berry note. It’s fruity, hazy, and easy drinking. Best enjoyed while wondering, is it “kuh-vike” or “kuh-vake”?
IPA - Imperial / Double New England / Hazy
Full bodied, strong IPA with smooth, round mouth feel and high hop aroma and flavours of mango, apricot, pineapple and grapefruit. Appearance is hazy a la North East style.
IPA - New England / Hazy
This North East-style IPA is double dry hopped with Citra and Sabro, for a subtle bitterness and soft body, with intense aromatics and flavours of peach, mango and coconut.
Sour - Fruited
A dessert inspired kettle sour with lactose and blackberry. This represents the perfect balance of sweet and tart with some jammy fruit and smooth mouthfeel.
IPA - New England / Hazy
When provincial trade barriers get in the way we find creative ways to challenge them. With our friends across the country at Container Brewing, we brewed the same recipe on the same day — a collaborative, Canadian spirit represented in our barrier-breaking icon!
Brett Beer
Our Brett Saison is mixed fermented with an expressive sacchromyces strain and brettanomyces. The delicious result is an enjoyably funky and rustic Saison.
IPA - New England / Hazy
Nelson Sauvin and Moutere hops from New Zealand give our latest double dry-hopped IPA flavours and aromas of gooseberry, white wine, grapefruit and passionfruit.
Belgian Dubbel
Brewed with fine Belgian malt and candi syrup. High carbonation and flavours of dark stone fruit, raisin, brown sugar, and spice.
IPA - New England / Hazy
This north east-style IPA is double dry hopped with Azacca and Galaxy for bold hop flavours that shine with hints of pine, pineapple and mango.
IPA - New England / Hazy
A tag-team of strong & sessional! Our double dry hopped IPA series pairs Vic Secret & Mosaic for flavours of mango, pineapple and pine. Try this one at 7% ABV, and the other at a sessional 3.5%. Don’t age, drink fresh!
Sour - Fruited
Kettle sour with cherry and lactose
Sour - Fruited
Kettle soured ale with wheat oats and lactose. Orange zest and orange juice concentrate added in the fermentor. Rich creamy body, medium tartness, fresh orange taste and aroma.
Pilsner - Czech / Bohemian
Czech-style Pilsner lagered in oak foeder
Pilsner - Italian
This dry hopped lager takes inspiration from the hop forward Pilsners of European origin and the North American interpretations that have gained popularity in recent years.
The finest German Pilsner malt alongside a heavy dose of Hallertau Mittelfruh and Saphir hops creates a crackery, spicy, and floral flavour profile sure to please. We hope you enjoy.
