Ottawa Beer Map is built to help people discover local beer destinations. These guidelines explain what kinds of listings fit the site and how updates are handled.
What belongs on the map
The map is primarily for breweries, brewpubs, taprooms, and closely related beer destinations in or near Ottawa. Listings should represent real places that visitors can reasonably learn about or visit, subject to each business’s own hours, policies, and availability.
What we look for
- A clear business name
- A verifiable address or service location
- An official website or social profile when available
- Useful contact details such as a phone number where available
- Enough context to help visitors understand what kind of stop it is
Corrections and removals
Listings may be updated, unpublished, or removed if a business closes, relocates, falls outside the current map radius, cannot be verified, or no longer fits the purpose of the site. If you spot something that needs review, contact us through the Contact & Corrections page.
A note on accuracy
We do our best to keep listings useful, but brewery details change. Visitors should confirm hours, menus, events, and availability directly with the business before heading out.
