Suggested Beers to try at Beyond the Pale Brewing Company.
Wheat Beer - American Pale Wheat
Grapefruit zest are used to infused the character of the fruit into the beer, and hops are carefully selected to emphasize the citrus notes. Don’t expect this to taste like the first course of Sunday breakfast; the fruit flavour is subtle, and the bitter quality of the grapefruit is balanced by a bit of sweetness in the finish.
Pale Ale - New England / Hazy
Crushable North East American Pale Ale. With big bold aromas and tastes of Clementine, passionfruit and ripe mango. This beer has full on Drink ability on the Roof!
Pale Ale - American
The final iteration of our pale ale project marks the conclusion of our experimental phase. The winning hop combination from 8 previous pilot batches was the power trio of Centennial, Amarillo and Citra. Never a bad time for a crisp and refreshing all season session ale.
IPA - Rye
Rye Guy is a West Coast style IPA that uses a ton of rye malt as part of the all-Canadian grain bill. American hops give it distinctive citrus and pine notes. The result is a crisp, full-bodied beer that is surprisingly sessionable for 52 IBUs.
Stout - Oatmeal
The Darkness is an incredibly dark and creamy beer that will overwhelm the palate with loads of dark chocolate and coffee flavours.
Kölsch

Boil Hops: Magnum | Tettnanger

Farmhouse Ale - Saison
For the Saison Tropicale we used a good amount of Rye and Oats to improve the mouthfeel and complexity of the spicyness of the Saison yeast. We adjusted the water with 5 mineral salts to accentuate the flavours we wanted. Finally we dry hopped the beer with juicy & fruity hops. This beer is quite dry however the mouthfeel is quite pleasant because of our grain bill strategy. Tastes and aroma of cantaloupe, pineapple, passion fruit, lychee and guava fill your mouth and nose all culminating with a refreshing, spicy and slightly tart finish.
IPA - Imperial / Double
ISG is the granddaddy of our Rye Guy IPA. More grain! More hops! The result is an incredibly flavourful, yet balanced Imperial IPA. There is a big malt flavour up front which presents in the form of rich caramel and serves to balance the high bitterness of a beer weighing in at 90 IBUs. The result is a nice, lingering, spicy taste on the tongue. And at 9.1% ABV, this is definitely going to make you super!

Belgian Tripel
Did you know this was almost the name of the brewery? Luckily we went a different route. But to remember where we came from, we honour the name with this amazing 100% pilsner malt Belgian strong ale.
Experience the aromas of Belgian yeast with sweet malts and candy sugar. Then as you sip, hang on for a ride of banana yeast notes that finishes dry with a tart finish.
Pilsner - Other
Like our daily news, we prefer our pilsners to be honest, balanced and refreshing. Brewed in Ottawa, Ontario, this is a light, crisp Pilsner with a dazzling clarity to be consumed alongside your favourite source of propaganda. This is an all-season brew best enjoyed fresh off the press, featuring select German barley and traditional Czech hops.
It pairs well with crosswords, working hard, playing harder and "hanging with the buds."
